Like a modern alchemist, DEM creates weird characters, surreal creatures, inhabitants of invisible layers in the world of humans.
Eclectic and funny, through wall-paintings, illustrations, paintings on canvas rich in allegorical language, he lets the viewer find the key to that enigmatic and arcane world. The approach to anthropological themes related to nature stimulate the artist in a constant experimentation, reached in recent years to the production of a film and the creation of installations made-up entirely of natural materials.
Besides painting in condemned buildings and forests, ideal background for his works, DEM has also been guest artist at Goteborg's Oro Gallery, and taken part in exhibitions such as Street Art, Sweet Art (PAC, Milano), Nomadaz (Scion Gallery, Los Angeles) and CCTV (Apostrophe Gallery, Hong Kong).

DEM, come un moderno alchimista, crea personaggi bizzarri, creature surreali, abitanti di uno strato impercettibile della realtà umana. Multiforme ed ironico, le sue opere che spaziano dal wallpainting, all'illustrazione, alla pittura su tela, si arricchiscono di un linguaggio simbolico che invita ad elaborare un proprio codice d'accesso per questo mondo enigmatico ed arcano. L'avvicinamento a tematiche antropologiche e legate alla natura stimolano l'artista a una costante sperimentazione, giunta negli ultimi anni alla produzione di un film e alla creazione d'installazioni composte esclusivamente da materiali naturali. Oltre alla produzione nelle fabbriche abbandonate e nei boschi, scelti come sfondo ideale per i suoi lavori, DEM vanta varie pubblicazioni ed esperienze espositive, come la personale alla Oro Gallery di Goteborg e la partecipazione alla mostre Street Art, Sweet Art al PAC di Milano, Nomadaz alla Scion Installation di Los Angeles e CCTV all'Apostrophe Gallery di Hong Kong.
